While precious gems have long been sought after for their rarity, Hawaiian koa wood is, unbeknownst to some, equally rare and just as beautiful. For the modern man or woman, this wood inlay tungsten ring is sure to stand out, combining an old world material with a technologically advanced metal. Hawaiian koa wood is sacred and protected by law, which only allows for naturally fallen koa trees to be harvested. This is why Hawaiian koa is one of the most expensive and sought after woods in the world. But unlike blood diamonds, koa wood is socially and environmentally responsible, yet rare and desirable. Our inlay is made from 100% real koa wood, as evidenced by the wood grain pattern going from side to side. Fake wood inlays run across the length of the band. The inlay is sealed with a hard resin and set on scratch-resistant tungsten carbide, one of the hardest metals in the world. Our rings are available in a wide range of widths and sizes, perfect for couples who want to wear a matching set.

This ring in wonderful. It looks just like the picture, which is not often the case for online orders. The wood is ornate and unique and the metal casing is shiny with a good width ratio between the two. My soon to be husband was very happy with my choice.
